La Cambra de Barcelona gives us the check for innovation in the Blue Economy
Last Wednesday, under the Barcelona International Boat Show, we attend the delivery of checks for innovation in Blue Economy projects within the European program 4helix +, granted by the Cambra de Começ of Barcelona at Royal Nautical Club.

What is the MAXPRO FR winning project based on?
It is based on the incorporation of improvements of safety and sustainability to our temporary surface protector so used within the masking process prior to any maintenance work and nautical refit.
The project, which we carried out thanks to the collaboration of the Universitat Politècnica de Catalunya and the Center Català del Plàstic, has allowed us to carry out a market study of the needs of temporary protections in large lengths to comply with fire safety regulations, comparing the products marketed in the market with our current MAXPRO.
We have also investigated new materials that provide properties of recyclability to the product making it more sustainable.
Together with our partners we will carry out the design of the final product, we will manufacture a prototype and we will carry out the ideal tests to be able to start producing and offering this novel product to the professionals of the nautical refit.
Launch forecasts in the II Refit Conference

We look forward to presenting it at the II Refit Conference that we are organizing and that will take place in 2020. This second edition will focus on the Innovation within the sector of Nautical Refit, as requested by the assistants of the first edition, which was a total success.
